Mr. R C Bhargava, Chairman, Independent & Non-Executive Director:
Mr. Bhargava is a Master of Arts in Development Economics, Master of Science in Mathematics. He has served in Indian Administrative Services and has held the post of Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Energy and in the Cabinet Secretariat. He held various positions in Maruti Udyog Limited and retired in 1997 as its CEO. At present he is Chairman of Maruti Suzuki India Limited. He is on the board of many companies like IL&FS Ltd, Grasim Industries Ltd, Ultra Tech Cement Ltd, Idea Cellular Ltd and Dabur India Ltd.
